Richard asks…
Do you think millionaires should still be covered by S.S. and Medicare?
The Dems are so strident in taxing the rich, who have taken advantage of all the loopholes & often do not pay their taxes, why are they so adamant that these same people be covered by Social Security and Medicare, like the ‘common people’? They have used this money for their pork projects and people living on S.S. & Medicare are limited in their care, forced to buy supplemental health insurance & no one can can possibly realize how many more years they will have to work & how much more they will have to pay. Too many die before they collect a cent of this ‘so called’ insurance or benefits. The politicians count on this. Nationalized health care will have the option of deciding who gets care and in essence who will live or die.
They tell us they do not want the less advantaged to feel inferior but I find this a very lame excuse. The less advantaged could only be better off if these politicians & millionaires paid their own way. They got rich off the backs of the common worker.
These people have more than enough to take care of themselves and their families so wouldn’t It makes more sense for them to save for their retirement and medical care instead of taking advantages of those who count on this little bit of help.
To add insult to injury they re-tax social security payment. If you can educate me on the fairness I would appreciate it.

Medicare Insurance AZ staff answers:
NO!!!!!!! I don’t think they should be. And SS and Medicare should CLEARLY show them and tell them now how they can turn down getting it. They don’t “have to” get it.

Mary asks…
Is it o.k. if I relay to you my latest experience in the hospital?
I went in for a Baclofen Trial (insert some drug into my spinal cord and see the reaction). The Neurosurgeon did not perform the procedure (his medical assistant did). He did not tell me she would be performing the procedure, nor did he ask my permission (my back was turned). She caused me a lot of pain until he took over and finished. He gave me 100 mcg. where the protocol from the drug manufacturer recommends 50 mcg. (The sales rep even told me some doctors use 25 mcg. to start) I couldn’t move my legs for 13 hours. My doctor would not authorize an overnight stay even though after 12 hours, I still couldn’t move my legs. He didn’t even call me in the afternoon to see how I was doing. I am very hurt and dissappointed in the whole process and I didn’t even get into how the nurses treated me. Was I treated like this because I only have Medicare and no supplemental insurance?

Medicare Insurance AZ staff answers:
I don’t think it’s an insurance issue. Most Hospitals are thrilled that they will see 80% of your bill paid.
I think your Doctor was just a Butthead.

Laura asks…
Should senior citizens be forced to use Medicare for primary health care or lose their Social Security benefit?
Seniors can’t buy private PRIMARY health care insurance, without losing their Social Security benefits.
Yes, I know seniors can buy supplemental health care insurance.
Yes, I know this is not a new rule/law. So what? Is it fair??
SOURCE: Forced Into Medicare
A federal judge tells seniors to take it or lose Social Security.

@hays101
Do you know that “opting out” is the same thing as buying your own primary health care??
@Howard L
I will not dignify your ignorant answer with a response.
@hays101
Did you read my question??
See question above: “Yes, I know this is not a new rule/law. So what? Is it fair??”
@hays101
You are dumber than a box of rocks.

Medicare Insurance AZ staff answers:
If you can afford primary insurance then what do you need SS for??
I thought you teabags didn’t like being dependent on the government??
Rich people who can afford primary care don’t need SS to live. They pay a lower tax than everyone else. Why should they still get benefits?
You should find something else to whine about teabag, like the government spending money it DOESN’T HAVE ON WARS?
How about the government using social security revenue to pay for thee wars? Dont you think that’s wrong?
Nevermind you are a big government neocon you can’t answer these questions
